A Thanksgiving trip canceled?
Snow Day Baby by Amy Vastine is a nice short romantic Thanksgiving read. This story is another perfect little read to snuggle up in a blanket and relax. Snow Day Baby is the first book in the A Heartwarming Thanksgiving: An Anthology and it’s a great book to start. Below you will find a list of all the stories included in the anthology.
This novella is a second chance romance. Which centers around a pregnant Sheridan Colfax and Dr. Scott Spencer finding each other after not seeing each other since high school. They end up stuck at an airport in Chicago waiting for the storm to clear so the planes can go. I love the family dynamics and how the characters deal with the unfolding events.
The thing I liked most about Sheridan is her independence and belief that she can handle this situation. Dr. Spencer is funny, competent and handles stress well. Which in this storm is something that everyone needs.
I don’t want to spoil it, but it’s an excellent little read. I am giving it a five-star rating.
