"I'm coming home...With my bride-to-be." Tyler Blackwell just announced that he and Hadley Sullivan are getting married. And they've never even dated! Now she and her boss are in Montana so Tyler can sell his family ranch. Hadley only agreed to continue the deception in exchange for a promotion. But moving up the corporate ladder pales beside her growing feelings for Tyler. Will his past and Blackwell family secrets sabotage what Hadley wants more than anything--a real wedding?

Will Tyler be able to work his magic and sell the family ranch in two weeks?

The Rancher’s Fake Fiancee by Amy Vastine is an excellent novel. Ms. Vastine was able to weave in the other three brothers and their respective significant others very well. I especially love the relationship between Ben and Ethan.

Tyler Blackwell is one of the middle children and part of the second set of Blackwell twin boys. He has a lot of issues to get through. Hadley Sullivan is one of Tyler’s employees and has her problems to get through. If you like The Proposal, you will love this novel.

Tyler Blackwell

Tyler Blackwell is the third middle child, after Ben and Ethan, and part of the last set of twin boys. To go with the Proposal theme Tyler would be Sandra Bullock’s character but without having the fuss of being deported. Instead, he has to go home to take care of his families’ ranch and makes sure to sell it. Tyler says that he has a fiancée except in reality there isn’t one. He is a workaholic who is trying to make up for what he didn’t have growing up.

What I like about Tyler is that he knows what he wants or at least thinks he does. He is a pretty good guy especially when he gets away from Portland and to the lovely peaceful way of ranch life. He is pretty good at marketing which will probably help in the long run with the families’ ranch.

What I don’t like about Tyler is that he knows how to confuse people. Letting them think one thing but doing a complete one-eighty turn and doing something different. The other thing that I don’t like about him is the fact that he pushed Hadley away after discovering something she was keeping from him like he doesn’t have secrets.

Hadley Sullivan

Hadley Sullivan is the second born and is kind of in the same boat as Tyler. They both feel like they haven’t gotten enough attention from their parents. Hadley has a brother named Asher Sullivan and he’s a famous television star that is always the center of attention. The only time Hadley feels secure is in her work and having it go the way that she wants. She agrees to be Tyler’s fiancée as long as he can get her something in return at work. In this novel, Hadley is Ryan Reynolds character except the being rich or living in Alaska parts. Hadley is a great character and reminds me of myself at certain moments.

What I like about Hadley is that she is a hard worker and knows what she wants. She makes friends with anyone and doesn’t mind getting her hands dirty even if she is a ‘city girl.’ I also love that she tries to bring out the good in Tyler. Hadley makes him see things differently than what he thinks he has known for the past twenty years.

The only thing that I didn’t like about Hadley is that she didn’t fight for her relationship with Tyler and that she did some things that she probably shouldn’t have done.

Five StarsThe Rancher's Fake Fiancee CR

The Rancher’s Fake Fiancée by Amy Vastine is a fantastic book. Ms. Vastine wove this novel well, and I loved every bit of it. I also like how each author finds a way to let you know which brother’s book to read next. My rating for the novel is five stars, and I am recommending it to anyone that loves cowboys and romances. I adore when a book takes me into the story as this one did.

Anyways until the next time enjoy this review brought to you by
