My Personal Reading Challenges for 2024

Over the years, reading challenges that I really liked have ended, as the host isn’t hosting them anymore. I tried to start my own reading challenge to share with all of you, but no one was really interested. However, I find that I am more apt to read the books that are requested, and I forget to read other books. So, this year, to make sure that I read a variety of genres, I decided to create my own mini-challenges.

My Personal Reading Challenges

2024 Middle Grade Reading Challenge

My goal this year will be to read 12 MG books.

Read one Middle Grade book each month. It can be combined with other challenges. It can be any format, short story, or whatever. Yet, it must be fictional.

Last year, I was part of the #LetUsReadMG reading challenge since they don’t seem to be doing that challenge this year. I present you with my version.

2024 Romance Book Reading Challenge

My goal this year will be to read 12 romances.

Read one romance book each month. It can be combined with other challenges, any format, length, or trope. I will read one romance book each month. Oh, and I have so many of these on my shelves already.

1. Snowed in with the Single Dad by Melinda Curtis
2. Faking After All by Cece Louise
3. Alex and Eliza by Melissa de la Cruz
4. The Summer Song by Lindsay Detwiler
5. The God Heist by Jessica Flory

2024 Young Adult Book Reading Challenge

My goal this year will be to read 12 YA books.

Read one YA book each month. It can be combined with other challenges, any format, any length book.

1. The Hidden Crown by K.E. Blair
2. The Memory of Odin by Jason R. Forbus
3. Alex and Eliza by Melissa de la Cruz
4. The God Heist by Jessica Flory
5. Love & War by Melissa de la Cruz

 

2024 TBR Jar Reading Challenge

My goal this year will be to read 12 romances.

This challenge is to help me read some of the books that I bought or have been given as gifts (mostly from family) that sit alone on my bookshelves waiting to be read. So, I got a jar and wrote all the titles on little pieces of paper. Now, I will draw one each month and read that book.

Read one physical book from my physical TBR  shelf. It can be combined with other challenges.
