After a six-month romance, Stephanie and Ben announce their engagement and learn Stephanie’s sister Tracy, is also engaged. Both want July 4th weddings, so Stephanie throws herself into helping plan Tracy’s big event. Ben pitches in, and everyone, but Stephanie’s dad, adores him. Also looming is a big decision. Stephanie is up for tenure and Ben’s offered a job in England. Then Tracy and her fiancé must fly to San Francisco for work, and his grandmother breaks a hip. Wondering if the universe is trying to tell them to slow down, these future brides and grooms surely have fireworks ahead.

My Rating:

My Thoughts:

Okay for summer wedding movies this one is the cutest with it leading up to the Fourth of July. I loved that they actually filmed in Southern California. Stephanie and Tracy are very close sisters, and both got engaged around the same time. They also know each other very well to know what the other likes for their wedding.

Like always there is some drama in here like is Ben and Stephanie ready to get married after only knowing each other six months, and can Tracy and Preston get married on the fourth as they want?

Becca Tobin plays Stephanie, and I think she did an excellent job. She is an anthropology professor and is doing very well for herself. Stephanie has a bunch of stuff that Ben didn’t know. Like with how her ex-fiancee was in a band and that she thought that she loved him, but she didn’t. I like how that experience helped shape her into who she is now and that because of it she meant Ben.

Ryan Rottman plays Ben, and he did a fantastic job. He is an economics professor that wanted to go to England for his perfect job but now not really. Ben has a lot of layers to him that get peeled back during this movie how Ben grew up around old cars and knows how to fix them much to Robert’s dismay that he doesn’t know how to get dirty. I like how he falls more in love with Stephanie throughout the movie.

The ending was sweet, and Tracy is an awesomesauce older sister. Seriously, I am adding this one of my favorites list.
