Plot Summary:
The theft of a rare Elizabethan artifact on display at the Lawrenceton Library’s annual fundraising event leads to capital crimes when Aurora Teagarden begins her unorthodox investigation and soon discovers not one – but two – murders committed by someone who would do anything to possess “Leicester’s Gift,” the Tudor crown on loan from the Seattle Museum of History.
Based on the characters in the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries by Charlaine Harris
My Rating:
My Thoughts:
Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Heist and Seek is another excellent movie for Candance Cameron Bure and Niall Matter. Roe and the gang of Real Murder members are all about trying to solve who would steal the Leicester’s Gift, which is a Tudor crown worn by one of the queens of England. It is a very complex investigation as they find two dead bodies and each of their suspects getting the all-clear for it.
My parents and I had such a fun time trying to guess who did it. Both my mom and I thought it was the one guy, but then we both talked ourselves out of it on our own. I won’t say who did it, but it was a big shocker on who did it. Roe and her team have done such a fantastic job on everything that they were trying to do in this case. I loved how we got to follow like three different groups of Real Murders participants trying to solve it. We had Roe with either Nick or Sally, Nick on his own, and Phillip with Davis. The dynamics of this happening is excellent, and I love how each one when they team up, or in Nick’s case investigating alone sometimes, they bring to the table a different element to getting the clues.
Aurora, with Nick, is starting to grow on me. I will always like her with Martin, but I get it. Roe and Nick are great together, and I just hope in future movies that they will continue to grow and bring some more of that chemistry into the movie.
