My Rating:

four-stars

My Thoughts:

Aurora’s old flame, Robin Daniels is back. He is filming a movie in town for a book of his. The book which he based the heroine off of Aurora.

We get a new side of Martin, and he’s jealous when he isn’t worrying about his CIA friend that is missing. Roe lets Martin know that she only has eyes for him despite that Robin seemingly had a crush on her because of the book/movie. The library in the film has changed, and Roe is still living in Julius House.

The scenes that I like are Robin telling Roe about his movie and how she inspired him. I liked this scene because it showed that Robin cares for Roe but not in a way that suggests love beyond friends. These two are great friends, and he was excited to tell Roe about it. He even invited her to set, which sets off a chain reaction of events. Like oh, say a murder investigation and a new actress playing the role that Roe inspired.

This whole installment sets the tone of Roe going off to do things by herself again while trying to include Martin. Martin is focused on his lost friend, and jealous of Robin, so he doesn’t help Roe with the investigation like he used to.

The mystery I loved since it seems that they had two mysteries to solve. One about a stalker and the other the murder investigation. The two crimes seem to wrap together as both are happening to the lead actress. Roe was able to solve both crimes, though. I didn’t get with who did it until Roe found a picture of the new leading actress and the culprit then it clicked.
