My Rating:

four-stars

My Thoughts:

This movie was a bit on the different than the other Aurora Teagarden films. The mystery was awesome and put Roe as the victim, which is a new role for Aurora. It’s nice to see Nick and Aurora together, even though I miss her with Martin.

We had a lot of red herrings and lots of clues while Aurora, her friends, and the police try to figure out who is behind all of these break-ins and hurting of the other civilians. I thought I knew who did it, but I was wrong until the clues started to fit into place. Until then, I just kept guessing which of the characters did it.

The storyline was well written, and I loved how they ended up with another new member to Real Murders Club. I especially like the way Lynn handled herself in this movie to while trying to figure out who is doing all of these things while also protecting Roe. Or at least trying to.

Candace Cameron Bure was excellent in the role of Aurora as usual. I also think that the rest of the cast is top-notch. Oh, and the town that they film in is beautiful.

Just one slight note for the hairstylist and producer on this movie: perhaps try a different wig for Aurora or use Candace’s blond hair and say that Roe is trying something different. Other than that A Game of Cat and Mouse is superb. I highly recommend it.
