Plot Summary:

A matriarch is poisoned during a family wedding reception and Aurora Teagarden vows to get to the bottom of the crime, especially when her mother, a friend of the dead woman, stands to inherit the bulk of the massive estate.

My Thoughts:

First off, I loved the opening scenes for this movie. With the mother getting ready for the Real Murder’s Agatha Christie themed party for the evening and her son checking on her. That was a nice touch. I loved the party since it was so cool and I adored all the costumes that they were wearing for it. As if they were from the 1920s. Although, it didn’t take them long to find the murder weapon.

Another scene that I loved was the wedding and the wedding reception afterward. However, that was a horrible way to go for Sally’s aunt. After that, the movie continues fabulously. All the clues were pointing to a lot of red herrings, but I had a feeling about a particular guy. I didn’t have enough clues persay to point to him until it all started to come together.

Then there are the scenes when the Real Murders members and the police were talking about Gladys’s (Sally’s aunt) murder. It would go from the Real Murders and then to the police station. I thought that was an excellent way of showing it.

All in all that’s a wrap on another marvelous Aurora Teagarden mystery. Make sure you watch it!
