Does "all things country" have to include her boyfriend?
Corporate raider Elena Striotikos knows that returning to her boyfriend's hometown to meet his mother and sister is the final step to getting what she wants: a marriage proposal. Except Dylan's town is the exact kind of closed community she grew up in and has spurned…and he's falling back in love with all things country. Can city slicker Elena stay with a guy who's discovering he's a cowboy at heart?
Will Elena be able to live in a small town or lose Dylan forever?
Falling for the Cowboy by Sophia Sasson was a pretty funny short story. Ms. Sasson has developed some great characters in this story that are hilarious, and I wouldn’t mind reading a full-length novel about them.
In this one we follow as Dylan Hayes is taking his girlfriend of two years, Elena Striotikos, to meet his mother and sister. However, this visit doesn’t go quite as he planned.
Dylan Hayes
Once Dylan is home, you can tell that he feels better about himself. He was a lot different from what we know of him in his life with Elena in Chicago. Another thing that I like is Dylan’s a family man. I only that I can think of anything that I dislike about Dylan is he should have told Elena a bit more about Bellshaven and his family before bringing her there.
Elena Striotikos
What I like about Elena is that she wants to be a good girlfriend for Dylan by being in his hometown which he loves. What I dislike about her is that she doesn’t give Dylan a chance to explain some things. Elena jumps to conclusions. Another thing that I don’t like about Elena is that she is harboring hateful feelings about all small towns just from her experience.
Five Stars
Falling for the Cowboy by Sophia Sasson was a funny and enjoyable book that made me laugh. It made me wonder if there might not be a happy ending for these two characters. I loved it though, and it was a great tale of a small town boy coming back home with the woman he loves.
I am giving this book five stars and recommending it to all you romance readers out there.
