An all-girls vampire camping trip turns deadly when a sasquatch hunter is accidentally killed.

All Esma Siban wants this summer is to stay out of her stepmother's way. When her stepsister, Morgan, suggests a road trip to Oregon to visit a friend from high school, Esma jumps on the idea. A camping trip sounds like the perfect way to help Esma recover from breaking up with her boyfriend. But when Esma and Morgan encounter a stalker, Esma's fangs come out. The death of a Sasquatch hunter wasn't on their itinerary. A terrified Esma is unsure what to do next, so she texts her ex-boyfriend for help.

Chase Wheeler feels like the biggest fool on the football team. The entire time he was dating Esma, he had no idea she was a vampire. In high school Chase did exactly what Esma told him to. He let Esma plan their dates, pick his wardrobe, and even pack his lunches. Now Chase has a month left before he starts college to forget the girl who froze his heart.

When Chase lands an internship on the popular radio talk show Fred Head, he finds his voice and charts a future that doesn't involve domineering girlfriends. But all it takes is one text from Esma and Chase runs back to her waiting arms. Chase finds the courage to tell Esma that he's through with being bossed around right when Esma realizes that she desperately needs Chase's input. The only way home from this camping trip is to be bitten or smitten.

What could possibly go wrong when a slayer’s daughter goes camping with two vampires?

Hunt Me by Louise Cypress is fabulous, I devoured. I read it in three days and I am still impressed with the whole little world that Ms. Cypress has created. In this book, we learn a lot more about how the vampires live and if they have any pets or not. We see the two main characters points of view.

Chase

The first main character in this book is Chase. We met Chase in Bite Me as the boyfriend of Esma and that he was like a typical jock. Now we see him in a different light after what happened in the first book. He is actually more than just a jock and more than just Esma’s boyfriend. He is pretty funny and very protective. He’s also very confused about his future but is making good progress on figuring some things out. What I like about Chase is that his attitude has changed and we can see that he has a good heart. What I didn’t like about Chase was that he didn’t want to be with Esma anymore. But things don’t always go as we plan them.

Esma

The other main character in this book is Esma. We met Esma in Bite Me as the daughter of Lukas that in dating, Morgan’s mom, Susan. The way Esma comes off in the last book is like a total ice queen and not someone that can be depended on. However, if you know of her secret then she will be there. Just like with Chase we see her in a different light. Well kind of. She’s still an ice queen but we also see more of her personality. She really cares for some people especially Chase and can be a really friendly person. What I like about Esma is that she’s not your typical blondie, you know the airhead with only thoughts of make-up and such. She’s really smart and kind. She also doesn’t want to hurt anyone by telling them the truth. What I don’t like about Esma is that she thinks that she is exactly like her mom. This gives her low self-esteem and she doubts herself.

Bad Guy

Just like with Bite Me I can’t really reveal much about the bad guy in this book since it was a total shocker for me again with this book. I just have to say that you have to read Hunt Me by Louise Cypress to find out.

Five Stars

Hunt Me by Louise Cypress is a wonderful book and oh so good. Ms. Cypress did another great job with this book. I especially like how she shows the two different personalities of Esma and Chase along with who the bad guys are in this book. The camping parts of the book and Barney are also some of my favorites.

I am giving this book a five-star review as it was such an exceptional book which kept me guessing and laughing throughout.

Anyways until the next time enjoy this review brought to you by
