While at the beach, Amelia is approached by a woman who is concerned about the son she gave up for adoption sixteen years ago. Millie has been having nightmares that make her fear he is in danger. She petitioned the court to view the sealed records but was refused. Will Amelia and Rick be able to convince the courts to help them? If her son is in danger, will they get there in time?

Mystery on the Bayou by Linda Weaver Clarke sees the couple on their honeymoon and may get into a mystery.

Can Amelia find Millie’s son that she gave up for adoption?

Amelia and Rick Bonito are now married and on their honeymoon in Florida. I am happy that these two got their happy ending even if that means sadly, my reading of these adventures is coming to a close. Amelia is still the spunky detective that we all know and love while Rick compliments her by using his charm. These two detectives are still as cute as ever, in my honest opinion.

Amelia Moore Mysteries Volume 2 CRThe Case

Amelia was asked by a woman named Millie close to the end of their honeymoon to try to find her son so that she could tell him something. I am glad that Amelia helped her as she has Marfan’s Syndrome, her son can inherit the genetic disorder that she has is shocking, to say the least with what it can do to someone. Amelia is excellent at solving these kinds of cases. She ended up having to go a bit further than that once she does find his adopted parents.

4 Stars

Mystery on the Bayou by Linda Weaver Clarke is a great short read about finding a son and getting him back to his loved ones. While also solving a case that the police were working on before the son went missing. Ms. Clarke did another wonderful job with this book, and it’s great. I am giving it 4 stars and recommending it to anyone that reads mysteries.

Rick Bonito’s uncle supposedly drowned five years ago and his body was never found, but something did not seem right about the report. Uncle Antonio was an excellent swimmer. His disappearance seems quite suspicious to Rick’s father. He never felt the complete truth had come out about his brother. It is now up to Amelia and Rick to find out the truth about his uncle.

The Lighthouse Secret by Linda Weaver Clarke is about a mystery that has the Bonito family grieving for a missing relative that they have thought was dead for the past five years.

Can Amelia and Rick find Antonio, Rick’s uncle, before someone else finds him? If he wants to be found?

Amelia and Rick are off to find Rick’s uncle, Antonio, as they have no clue if he actually did die or what had happened to him. These lovebirds are a great team of finding out certain parts of the cases that they are solving. I am sad that this is the last book but these characters are great at finding out what has gone in these cases. Not only that but they are great as love interests. They are also good at taking what has happened to them at certain points when they get in a bend. Especially when Rick teaches Amelia a new self-defense trick.

Amelia Moore Mysteries Volume 3 CRThe Case

Amelia and Rick are trying to figure out what happened to Antonio. He just disappeared five years ago and now Rick is trying to figure out what happened to his uncle. It’s a mysterious case that I was having a hard time figuring out why Antonio did what he did. Though is he alive or isn’t he? That is the major question. Along with why he has been in hiding for so long and what is he afraid of? That is if he is alive.

4 Stars

The Lighthouse Secret by Linda Weaver Clarke is another fantastic case for the Amelia Moore Detective Agency to solve. I loved reading about this series and I am a bit sad that its the ending of this series. I am giving this book 4 stars and recommending it.
