As tulips bloom and the sun warms the air, the Bluestar ferry delivers a special visitor to the island whose search for the past leads her directly in the path of her future.
With Spring Fling the next event on Bluestar’s busy calendar, the residents decide to use it to play another round of matchmaking. Travel blogger Elaine “Lainey” Devereaux is led to the island by a cryptic entry in her late mother’s journal. With the weight of grief driving Lainey onward, she searches for a long-buried secret but before she can uncover the truth there’s a tragic accident.
Graphic artist Jack Turner is on top of the world as he anticipates a big promotion and a move to the Big Apple. He’s minding his own business when the most beautiful woman rushes into the roadway, right in front of his cart. With no time to stop, the collision leaves both of them stunned. As circumstances conspire to draw them together, they soon find themselves helping each other to come to terms with the past while exploring an unexpected love.

A Lighthouse Snapshot by Jennifer Faye is a beautiful love story.
Will Lainey and Jack find love and happiness on Bluestar Island?
Elaine “Lainey” Devereaux
A bigtime corporate lawyer turned travel blogger is searching for the secret that her mother tried to impart to her on her death bed. Lainey is so devastated after her mom’s death that she takes her mom’s journal and follows her path, looking for the secret. Eventually, Lainey ends up on Bluestar Island, where she finds Jack Turner and more than she bargained for when it comes to her mom’s secrets.
Will Lainey allow the past to rule her present and future? I was immediately drawn to Lainey. She is kind and is a truly nice person. Even when faced with horrible circumstances, she strives to be her best.
Jack Turner
Jack is one of the Turner siblings. He is a graphic designer. After staying too long at the family furniture store and in his haste to get home for a meeting, he hits Lainey with his golf cart. The two of them hit it off and become fast friends, which leads to more. Although, Jack’s past may be an issue if he can’t get beyond it.
I like Jack. He is a gentleman and believes in the truth. I truly like the way he likes to watch his nephew and is there for his family.
