Level Up for Love by Lenora Woods is another great love story told with bouts of D&D playing.

Can Reagan and Wesley start anew with their love, or has it been doomed from the start?

This love story has been in the making for years for Reagan and Wes. It was just waiting for them to reconnect after being apart for so long.

Reagan Riley

Reagan Riley is our point-of-view character. She is Ramona’s older sister, a fantastic video game creator, and a pretty good Dungeons and Dragons Dungeon Master. Well, until everything went sideways before the start of this book. Reagan definitely has a lot of flaws that she is working on in her own time, very slowly. She has a big heart that she’s afraid to let others see, and I think that scares her more than anything when she does let them in to see who she is.

I think I would be friends with Reagan since it’s free access to see her video games come to life.

Wesley Locke

Wesley Locke has definitely changed a lot since Reagan last saw him in college. I think seeing Wes again kickstarted Reagan into returning to the self she left behind a while ago. Wesley is a good character, and I like how he knows he’s changed while trying to make Reagan see it. The biggest thing I like about Wesley is that he tries to make Reagan see that she’s worth not only loving again, but also letting people see her. He is Reagan’s biggest supporter, and I love seeing that in these types of couples.

Four Stars

My rating for Level Up for Love by Lenora Woods is four stars. I also recommend this book only to adult readers. It has some open-door romance scenes, but overall it’s a very cute story. The biggest part that kept me going was wanting to see how the campaign ended and how everything would work out for Reagan and Wesley. These two are super adorable. I also like the side romances with Ramona and Shay, along with Shay’s parents.

Ms. Woods is a fantastic author, and I love how she blends the story with the campaign. I am learning a lot about D&D as I read her books.
