They join a senior dating group, and romantic intrigue soon turns to murder. Graham Parselle, lady killer extraordinaire, plunges off a cliff on a Senior Singles outing. Did one of his dates pitch him over? Or is Olivia Honeycut’s new beau to blame?Book 4 in this award-winning series. Can easily be read as a stand-alone.

The Fog Ladies Date with Death by Susan McCormick is a wonderful ride filled with memorable times for the Fog Ladies.

Will the Fog Ladies lose some members?

The ladies start going to the Senior Singles. It’s a group that brings senior citizens together. Some are looking for their last loves, and some just want companionship. In the midst of the first get together Olivia Honeycutt meets her old high school boyfriend. The two of them are immediately smitten with each other again. Then, at one of the Senior Singles events, one of the gentlemen falls off a cliff. This brings the Fog Ladies to action. They are invested in finding the culprit because they know that it wasn’t an accident.

Update on the Fog Ladies

Olivia Honeycutt

Olivia finds her high school sweetheart and quickly falls for him. In the process, she loses some of herself and her friends. Is love more important than the friends you have had for years?

Alma Gordon

Alma still has Chantrelle living with her and her adorable puppy, Boris. Mr. Glenn is teaching her to drive. Alma is happy and feeling better. Hopefully, she will put some boundaries out there soon.

Enid Carmichael

Enid and Snowball are the same. She is always blunt and hungry, while Snowball is mostly grumpy. One day, someone is going to call her out on everything, and it won’t be pretty. I think Enid will win.

Harriet Flynn

Harriet is one of the first ladies to agree to attend the Senior Singles luncheon. She and Olivia are quite daring. She is good at sussing out clues. If you need help clearing out your departed loved one’s things, she is the one to ask.The Fog Ladies Date with Death CR

Frances Noonan

Frances is the one who puts the clues together for the reveal. She also summarized the group’s clues when they try to figure out whodunit. Mrs. Noonan always has food for Sarah when she is hungry. I think she is my favorite of the older Fog Ladies. However, she may want to think about getting that knee replaced.

Sarah James

Sarah has a lot going on in this installment, and possible life changes may be happening with her, too. None of this stops her from being there for the Fog Ladies. I truly like Sarah. She is a great character.

Five Stars

I love the way that Ms. McCormick writes. She truly puts me in the story. I can feel the dampness of the fog. My favorite scene involved Boris, Alma, and a cable car. It is fantastic! My rating for The Fog Ladies Date with Death by Susan McCormick is five stars. I recommend this series to all you cozy readers out there. This little section of San Francisco is like Cabot Cove with multiple sleuths.
