Plot Summary:
Cate is the CEO of Merry & Bright, a struggling small-town candy cane factory. Gabe is a New York consultant tasked with saving the company. With Christmas approaching, Gabe travels to the town, only to find Cate resenting his efforts to restructure her business. Though they initially clash, they soon develop feelings for each other. But when Gabe urges her to accept a high-profile investor’s suggestion to abandon the traditional methods of her business, Cate parts ways with him. On Christmas Eve, Cate wonders if she’ll manage to save her factory and if she’ll ever find a holiday romance again.

Merry and Bright with Andrew Walker and Jodie Sweetin is a magnificent movie. I love that it is different than what we have seen on Hallmark so far. Another thing that I love is all the candy canes and her grandma’s recipes that she bakes just for fun.
Jodie Sweetin is Cate Merriweather, and she has taken over running her family’s candy cane business. It’s fabulous that she is running the company and trying to keep it up from failing. Cate is very busy with her family’s business, that she doesn’t have time to worry about her romantic life. She wants to live up to her grandma’s memory.
Andrew Walker is Gabe, and he works for a company that helps struggling companies either remake themselves or do something to bring back customers. Gabe is good at what he does, and unknowingly to him or Cate, their mothers are trying to set them up. He does what he can to help Cate, and he ends up doing that.
Andrew Walker and Jodie Sweetin have great chemistry that I can see as a great friendship and a romantic one. I love seeing that as it brings the story together.
If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend it. This Christmas movie is a fantastic one.
