My Rating:

four-stars

My Thoughts:

Rachel, played by Danica McKellar, is an interesting character. She wanted to be an author, but instead, she went into event planning. That has been going well for her as she rose in the ranks. Now Rachel has come home for Christmas with the help of her friend to be hired to host an event for Dolly. Rachel is a great mom, employee, friend, and daughter. She tries so hard to do a lot of things and be there for the people that matter to her. I think Danica did an amazing job playing this character, and the relationships that she has with other people that Rachel runs into are fabulous.

Luke, played by Niall Matter, is a great guy character. He wants to move up in the company and doesn’t want to move since he likes working at Dollywood. Luke wants to become General Manager, and he’s honestly great at his job, which a lot of people realize. He is great with kids and has a special touch with Alexis.  I think Niall did a superb job of portraying this character, and I believed his chemistry with Danica.

My two favorite parts of this movie were when Rachel gets caught by Luke and some other guy trying to see Dolly Parton just once at Dollywood, and when someone said to Dance with RHYTHM.

Overall, the movie is lovely and lived up to y expectations. I would watch it again.
