When an old friend is arrested in Dublin, tour guide Lana Hansen will need the luck of the Irish to clear him of the crime.

Lana is thrilled her friend Jeremy and his wife are on her tour to Ireland. The couple are having the time of their lives exploring the country’s rich literary and cultural history, until they run into Guy Smith, a reporter Jeremy recently exposed as a fraud.

A tussle turns into a fight and leaves each man vowing to destroy the other. Yet cross words and dirty looks tell Lana that Jeremy is not the only client on her tour who has a grudge against the reporter.

When Guy is murdered at the same pub Lana’s group is present at, Jeremy is the police’s number one suspect. But did he really murder the reporter? Or was it one of her other guests?

Lana keeps their tour going and her ears open for any clues that might help free her friend. Can she discover the true killer’s identity before their trip to the Emerald Isle draws to a close?

The Travel Can Be Murder Cozy Mysteries are heartwarming stories about making friends, traveling, and celebrating new experiences. Join tour guide Lana Hansen as she leads tourists and readers to fascinating cities around the globe on intriguing adventures that often turn deadly.

Death by Leprechaun by Jennifer S. Alderson is a marvelous mystery filled with history, genealogy, and the sights of Ireland.

It seems everyone on tour had a motive for killing Guy, but who had the opportunity?

Lana Hansen

Lana is our tour guide and sleuth. She and Randy are running the Wanderlust Tour of Ireland over the week of St Patrick’s Day. Lana has changed since the last book I read, but she seems to be doing fine. Although, these tours all seem to have a murder around them. This time Lana is trying to keep her once boss and good friend Jeremy from going to jail for murdering Guy.

Lana has a boyfriend now and seems to be happy. Although, she can’t seem to get a hold of him during this installment. I am looking forward to seeing how that whole relationship works out.

The Mystery

DEATH BY LEPRECHAUN CRWell, our victim is an ex-reporter from the states. I say ex, as he has been blacklisted since he faked his sources and didn’t mind ruining lives to make a buck. Apparently, he still hasn’t figured out what journalistic integrity means. Guy is now trying to ruin Jeremy’s wife’s name as revenge against Jeremy for getting him blacklisted in the states. However, Jeremy isn’t the only one with a motive to kill Guy. Almost everyone on the Wanderlust Tour has a reason for taking Guy out.

I truly enjoyed the mystery. I did figure it out but not long before Lana did. The sights and bits of Irish history are fascinating. Ms. Alderson does such a fabulous job of showing us the atmosphere and controversies that are all part of experiencing Dublin.

My rating for Death by Leprechaun by Jennifer S. Alderson is five stars. I felt transported to Dublin, and the mystery kept me guessing. If you like to travel and mystery, I highly recommend this book and series.
