My Rating:
My Thoughts:
These amazing actors did another fantastic movie. I like that the dad, Chauncey, is getting more action at the crime scenes. It’s nice to see him at them and working a case besides what he does at the office. His little romance with Aunt Candace is doing great. I like the little bit of iffiness going on with Candace as well.
Of course, Lacey and Brennan as Tess Harper and Logan O’Connor is just superb work. Tess is getting out there, doing more things than just writing her crosswords puzzles every week. I love how they brought in Hunter, played by Jon Cor. Hunter is a great character even though he is flawed on the what-could-be romance with Tess.
Brennan plays a funny jealous Logan O’Connor. He does this exceptionally well while still being himself that not many people notice except for the ones that know Logan.
Their chemistry is still significantly there that I love it. Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliott are great love interests that started with their All My Heart series. I love them in this movie series even more since they have the bonus of having to solve a mystery together.
The mystery was such a nail-biter on trying to unravel every single clue that they came across. Aidan, the game show host, wasn’t a likable guy. He really was an a$*h@t.
Another thing that I like about this is how Tess tries to do the crossword as something to help not only the older people but, the younger generation with whatever they are pursuing. Let it be getting into college or finals week. It’s awesome.
Overall the whole thing from the sets and the story was superb, and I loved it. If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out and let me know if the culprit surprised you.
