Plot Summary:
Struggling Nashville musician Shayna is on the verge of giving up on her career. She returns to her small-town home when a chance encounter with prolific songwriter Grady changes everything. He’s writing a song for country music star Duke Sterling, and Shayna seems like the perfect writing partner. The two grow closer, and romance blooms as they work on their love song, but when Shayna meets Duke, who takes a liking to her and asks her to be his opening act, it undermines everything she and Grady created, and Shayna feels forced to choose between love and possible stardom.

Country at Heart is actually better than some of the other Hallmark movies that we have seen. Jessy Schram, Niall Matter, and Luke Bryant actually have done a pretty good job during this movie. I think that they were really good at singing and playing the guitar.
Jessy Schram plays Shayna Cook, and I think that she does a fantastic job playing this role. Shayna is an excellent guitarist, singer, and song-writer even though she just needed the right someone to help bring out the right words. She is a good character, and I was rooting for her and Grady to be together.
Niall Matter plays Grady Parker, and I think that he also does a marvelous job. Grady is a guitarist and song-writer who occasionally sings but not really. He just needed someone to bring out the best in him again to make a great hit. I think that these two were great together.
Lucas Bryant, as Duke Sterling, is the perfect third in this story. There is so much history between Duke and Grady, which Shayna helps them figure it out. I haven’t seen Lucas Bryant before (that I remember) but I will be looking for this actor in the future.
Their chemistry between the three is so dynamic with each other. The sets were really great. Even if they are in Canada instead of Nashville filming, but that’s fine. This is a must-watch.
