Alison Sweeney and Benjamin Ayres are back and do an outstanding job of filming this installment in a post-pandemic time.

Alex and Drew are the best couple of journalists, friends, and maybe more later down the road? I sure hope so. The actors are so good at portraying these two people who didn’t necessarily like each other at first but that have grown on each other. It’s such a beautiful thing to see.

I love how Drew is with Drew’s daughter Kendall and how protective he is even though she is in college now. Also, the fact that Drew is teaching at the college now too is convenient. There is a lot of things to like about this new mystery.

Alex’s podcasts are fantastic to see her working on them throughout the show while gathering clues for the latest mystery that they are swept up in. Even more so for how she did it for this movie and doing something a bit different for it.

I liked the camp retreat and thought the concept about self-awareness and physical exercises connect well. Though sadly, you probably will never find me at one of those camps. I really am not a camping type of person.

The sets are fantastic. However, I thought they probably should have found a better meeting place than Alex’s tent at the campsite. Those tents aren’t all that good for keeping their conversations a secret, which Alex found out by listening in on a conversation in another tent.
