Everlasting Christmas by Mandy M. Roth is a fun holiday read. I adore the town and all the individual characters that roam the streets of Everlasting, Maine.

A second chance at love?

Jolene Bails has been receiving these marvelous gifts from a Secret Santa. The gifts are so thoughtful and whomever it is, knows her better than most people. Could Wil Messing be her Santa? Or could it be Marty Hanover the Polar Bear Shifter? Whoever it is, the gifts are beautiful.

Jolene is an auto mechanic by trade, trained by her father. However, she likes the girlie things in life too. Jolene’s home is feminine and romantic. She loves to read romance books but doesn’t take any sass from the men of Everlasting. Here’s a quote from the mind of Wil:

The darn woman could make a hunter shake in his boots with her stern glares. He wondered if she went out in the woods and practiced the look on bears to see if they ran. He was betting the bears hightailed it lickety-split.

Can an old hunter learn new tricks?

Wil Messing is a fierce old supernatural hunter. He has taken out many of supernatural beings in his day. Not that Wil couldn’t do it now. Yet, he is getting a bit soft since his granddaughter returned to Everlasting and gave him a great-granddaughter. Wil is sometimes mean and threatening, and mostly he is just grumpy. However, one thing that he knows for sure is that no one better mess with his family. The other thing is he loved Jolene before, and he hasn’t stopped.

You’ll have to read the book to find out if Wil is Jolene’s Secret Santa and if they end up together. I have genuinely enjoyed An Everlasting Christmas. My rating is five stars. I highly recommend this series to other paranormal cozy lovers.
