All of My Heart: The Wedding a Hallmark Fall Harvest Movie 2018
With my love of autumn, romance and happy endings I will be watching all of the Hallmark Channel’s Fall Harvest Movies this year, then sharing my thoughts with all of you.
My disclaimer: I like the fun, romantic movies that play on Hallmark. Therefore my reviews will probably have a very positive look at each of the films.
If you would like to see a list of the Movies and their first air dates, I have listed them below.
All of My Heart: The Wedding
Directed by: Terry Ingram
Writer: Karen Berger
Cast: Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliott.
Network: Hallmark Channel
Air Date: September 29, 2018
Jenny and Brian are planning their incredibly romantic wedding. Emily’s Country Inn is filled to capacity with happy guests. Then a distant relative of Emily’s arrives and she stakes a claim to the house. The pressure is on as Jenny and Brian try to raise enough money to hang onto their home. They go for broke expanding her company, Jenny’s Home Baked. Brian even considers a return to Wall Street. All of the wonderful friends they made in Bucks County are worried about their favorite couple, trying to figure out how to help. Jenny and Brian’s enduring love will once again be tested as the wedding day approaches and they struggle to keep the house that brought them together.
This is the third movie in the series. The first is All of My Heart (2015) and the second is All of My Love: Inn Love (2017).
These two actors are also co-starring in the upcoming Hallmark Movies & Mysteries cozy, THE CROSSWORD MYSTERY. It looks like this will be premiering in 2019.
My thoughts:
I have seen all three of the movies in this series, and I think the chemistry between Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliott is perfect. It’s not over the top sappy. They have grown to become business partners and best friends. I have enjoyed Lacey’s acting since she was Gretchen in Mean Girls. She has grown as an actress since then.
I thought the plot was cute. Some parts didn’t seem plausible, but I liked the overall story and the lesson that was learned. I thought it was cool the way Meg’s character grew. She was all uptight at the beginning with her hair in a tight bun and dull clothes. As she spends more time at the Inn and saw Jenny’s kindness, Meg started to warm up and wear her hair down, and the color of her clothes became more colorful.
Jenny and Brian have become part of this town, and the people there love them. Small town communities can be amazing. Jenny and Brian have learned what is important to them. I think that is wonderful and I like the positivity that they bring to each other.
I think my favorite part is the wedding. Yes, it was the wedding complete with super tall Tom the best man, Casey the maid of honor, Vern giving the bride away, Brian’s father (whom he recently reconciled with) attend the wedding along with the entire town.
OK, I was wrong, my favorite part was Gabby and her babies running all around. They were even at the wedding with bow ties and flowers on. The goats are so adorable and are out there stealing the show.
My favorite quote from the movie:
You can believe the best or the worst about people. I think it’s a little less lonely to believe the best. ~ Realtor to Meg
