Summary:

Host of a New England web series, Abby is set to launch her own line of home products. All she needs is a few more authentically northeastern webisodes and the deal is done. But Abby’s roots are actually in Texas, and now she must return to her dad’s ranch to help him. Surprised to find her former boyfriend Ryan is the ranch manager, Abby is soon swept up in their old chemistry. Torn between her Texas roots and her New England aspirations, Abby must decide where she belongs – with work in the northeast, or deep in the heart of Texas.

My Rating:

four-stars

My Thoughts:

Okay, this movie is so good. Nathan Parsons and Jonna Walsh were great together, and I believed that they were both falling for each other again.

Abby is a cool person, but I didn’t like how she was lying to Carrington about where she was from. I mean granted he probably wouldn’t have liked it, but I did like the ending and how she got the best of both worlds — doing what she loves with the webisodes and being able to be true to herself in Texas. Okay, she also gets the guy since no Hallmark is good without that. Ryan and Abby are so cute together, and I love that she was able to get him to do things that he wouldn’t have done before.

Abby and her dad, Robby Benson as Wes, were terrific together and I believed that they were father-daughter. I loved how Abby finally confronted her dad about how she always tried to get on his good side and have him notice her when he has the whole time.

Ryan is another unique character, and I loved him from the moment he gets on the screen. Nathan Parsons is a great actor, and he really shines in this movie. Ryan is a real cowboy with everything that he wants to do right there in the town they grew up in. I wouldn’t mind trying out his Yellow Rose barbeque sauce either. He is very supportive of Abby and got her back to her roots.

These two were cute together, and I can’t wait to see what else these two do either together or on their own.
