Impressed by Isabella and her expertise in wine, a budding romance develops between them. However, as the results as the competition are announced, Isabella believes Jacques badmouthed her wine. My Rating:

four-stars

My Thoughts:

For Hallmark’s first Countdown to Summer movie, Paris Wine and Romance is fabulous. It got me in the mood for summer, and the acting was superb.

Jen Lilley does an excellent job as Isabella, and I love how she kept on sticking her foot and sometimes both feet in her mouth when talking to Jacques or his brother. Jen Lilley was pregnant when filming this movie, and it was fun to see the outfits, they put her in to hide her baby bump. Isabella is someone that I would most likely be friends with even though I am not a big wine drinker. Isabella is a funny character, and when she gets nervous, she talks a lot. This film isn’t the first time I have seen Jen in a movie, and I am a fan of hers.

Dan Jeannotte as Jacques did an outstanding job. His French accent is perfect, and I think he brought the character to life. I especially loved it when he named a perfume for Isabella. I don’t remember the French words for it but translated is Unforgettable Woman. I thought that was sweet. The chemistry between him and Isabella (Jen) is marvelous, and I believed it through the movie. This film isn’t the first time I have seen Dan either. I have seen him in Regin and Good Witch the television show.

The happy ending was superb. I can’t wait to see these two in another movie together.
