Match-Made Christmas by Daria White is the first book by this author that I have read and it was awesome. I loved how the characters are so very stubborn. That I get since they both have demons that they are trying to keep at bay.
Adrienne Fields
Adrienne Fields is our main female lead, and she is a twenty-eight-year-old romance author living in Los Angeles, California. She is heading home to Lakeshore, Texas, for her best friend’s wedding and to see if being home will recharge her writing abilities. Adrienne is the youngest of two siblings, and she has always felt like she doesn’t belong at home. She has quite a few demons. The fact that her high school sweetheart broke up with her before graduation, and because of that, Adrienne wants to prove to everyone that she can take care of herself and to come back triumphant. She is also very headstrong and likes to pick fights.
Trace Carson
Trace Carson is our main male lead, and he is a twenty-eight-year-old furniture store owner that has lived his whole life in Lakeshore, Texas. He didn’t leave for college or anything which he’s okay with how it has turned out. Trace loves living in the small-town and thought that he was over Adrienne, but he wasn’t. Throughout he tried to deny his feelings, but that wasn’t easy. He is a great guy who took the pulling the girl you likes hair to show you care thing throughout the entire time that he has known Adrienne.
Five Stars for Match-Made Christmas
Match-Made Christmas by Daria White is one of a kind type of books that I love. There is the happily-ever-after ending, but it was the writing that always makes a well-known story. The tale here is boy and girl have known each other all their lives, and it only takes one event to change how they see each other. I liked it so much. I am giving it a five-star rating, and I enjoyed the characters and the banter between Adrienne and Trace. I recommend this book to all you HEA romance readers out there.

I started writing as a teenager. Surprisingly, I hated reading as a kid. In fact, I avoided it, but when I had to write my short story for school, I found myself excited. I discovered my imagination and it grew from there. The first story I wrote was by hand in a notebook. Then I wrote another story by hand in another notebook. Will those stories ever be published? I don’t think so. I think they’re more for me.
Aside from writing, I loved science. I loved my biology classes, and by the time I got to college, I pursued the medical field. I graduated with a degree in healthcare management, and currently play the piano and sing at my local church. While I love these things, my heart was somewhere else.
A writing career was not in the cards for me. There was no way I was publishing my work. That meant people would read my work LOL. No offense to anyone, but the writing was just my safe haven. Being socially awkward as a child, it became my outlet to get my feelings out. I found a new way to express myself. While my confidence has grown as an adult, I still hesitated when it came to publishing.
Self-publishing presented itself to me in 2013. I published my first holiday story and overall it received positive reviews. Yet, I kept my writing in the background. It wasn’t until my dad said, “I think if you gave this a go, you could make it.” For my dad to tell me that, it changed my perspective. You see, I was willing to settle. Sell a few books here and there and I would be fine. That wasn’t living. I was living in fear. That’s not the way to live.
So here I am. Currently, my category is sweet romance, but I am looking to branch out to other sub-genres of romance. I may even surprise everyone and write a cozy mystery or historical romance.
Here are a few of my favorite things (LOL Sound of Music reference): God, chocolate, cooking, Turner Classic Movies, books, music (serious eclectic taste), Hallmark/Hallmark Movie & Mysteries, and Marvel movies (I was definitely in my feelings at the end of Infinity Wars).
