Now a Netflix original movie starring Lana Condor and Noah Centineo and the inspiration behind the Netflix spin-off series XO, Kitty, now streaming!
Lara Jean’s letter-writing days aren’t over in this follow-up to the bestselling To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and P.S. I Still Love You.
Lara Jean is having the best senior year a girl could ever hope for. She is head over heels in love with her boyfriend, Peter; her dad’s finally getting remarried to their next door neighbor, Ms. Rothschild; and Margot’s coming home for the summer just in time for the wedding.
But change is looming on the horizon. And while Lara Jean is having fun and keeping busy helping plan her father’s wedding, she can’t ignore the big life decisions she has to make. Most pressingly, where she wants to go to college and what that means for her relationship with Peter. She watched her sister Margot go through these growing pains. Now Lara Jean’s the one who’ll be graduating high school and leaving for college and leaving her family—and possibly the boy she loves—behind.
When your heart and your head are saying two different things, which one should you listen to?
Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han is about Lara Jean and Peter trying to survive the last months of senior year in high school.
Can Lara Jean and Peter keep their relationship going for college?
Lara Jean
Lara Jean is celebrating the last few months of being a senior in high school while also planning her future with Peter in college. Well, they do have a plan, and it is going to work…until it doesn’t. Lara Jean is still a teenager and as teenagers we make mistakes. She is also doing a lot of things to keep herself busy from stressing out but I think that just ends up stressing her out even more.
I kind of like Lara Jean in this book since she’s a bit better.
The Relationship
Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky are going through a very rough journey throughout this book. They are dealing with a lot of changes especially for their relationship. I believe that these two can make anything work and I may be one of those people that are hoping that they are still together.
Four Stars
My rating for Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han is four stars. I am recommending this book. The Song Covey sisters still call their parents Mommy and Daddy. Lara Jean and Margot will forever be Kitty’s link to their mom and she can always go to them for any questions on that. Peter and Lara Jean are a cute couple, though.
