Plot Summary:
A retired diplomat dies, leaving his entire estate to charity and not his granddaughter. Jen buys a player piano at the auction, and the man she hired to repair it is attacked in his shop. This leads our sleuth to start investigating what is happening and who is behind it. Although Detective Linwood is on it, Jen just can’t stop thinking about it.

My Thoughts:
Once again, Jennifer gets involved in a mystery after discovering that something is wrong when a friend of hers gets hurt. I honestly love it when a mystery starts off this way since it makes it more interesting.
This mystery was quite a doozy. I honestly kind of remembered this one from the first time we watched it, but not all of it. I definitely didn’t remember who the killer was, which was a big shock for me.
I liked how both Jen and Jason handled the things their kids were having trouble with in their lives. Hannah more needed someone to listen as she figured out what she needed to do, while Logan needed a bit of guidance. Jen and Jason honestly raised these two well.
Another thing I liked about this movie is that Dani finally has a beau who seems to be sticking around more than some of her others. Dani definitely needs someone in her life who won’t be intimidated by her, and Drew doesn’t seem to be. I hope that we will continue to see these two together in the future.
