Summer nights are heating up for Beast Master Markus Ralston and his new mate, Bella.

Someone is setting fires in the adult entertainment industry of Haven City. Markus and Bella are hired to discover who wants to eliminate curtain show houses and nearby hotels. The exposure to nightly sensual sights couldn't come at a worse time for the couple.

Markus has learned he'll be departing in the days to come as per an agreement with his home nation, made so he could marry Bella. Not wanting to leave Bella with the possibility of learning she's pregnant alone, he makes the difficult choice to abstain from the physical side of their relationship. A decision that tests their bond to the breaking point.

Navigating crude show house owners, the dangers of human rabies syndrome, and jealousy, Markus and Bella are in a race to catch the arsonist before another fire claims a business. All while fighting against desires that threaten to ignite their marriage into smoldering ruins or passion-filled nights....

Fiery Nights Tempted by Sarah Westill is fantastic, magnificent, and has the perfect amount of passion and mystery that I could not put it down.

Will Bella and Markus find the arsonist before the next fire is set?

Markus and Bella are hired to find who sets the fires at the curtain shows and the hotels next to them. They have a limited amount of time to do this for two reasons: first, the arsonist seems to be setting a fire every two weeks, and Markus must go back to his home country to work through the summer as his agreement to marry Bella. The two are bonded now, and I don’t know how they will handle being apart. Even Lunah the wolf isn’t looking forward to leaving Bella behind.

The mystery is wonderfully written, with clues sussed out by our investigators. The underbelly of Haven City is fascinating, but the virus is still a threat. We are introduced to a few new characters; of them, Willow is the most memorable. I like that she has a plan and sticks to it no matter what happens.

Bella and Markus

Their bond is strong but works differently than two full-blood Ruthenians would. Although, for Bella, since she doesn’t know, it is easier to handle. But is it? She still gets the feelings and has to figure out how to proceed. I think that the way that Markus tries to protect Bella is adorable, yet I don’t believe I would find it that all the time. Sort of the way that Bella gets tired of him always putting her first when she wants to put his feelings first at least once in a while.

I love how Markus, Bella, Madeleine, and Lunah have become a family. They have respect for each other and cohabitate well together.Fiery Nights Tempted CR

Five Stars

Ms. Westill has created the most amazing world. She has thought out all the bad and good a city can offer. She makes it all so real that I can ultimately see it in my mind while reading her books. I love the characters as they are all perfectly flawed and yet totally believable. Another thing I love about her books is Ms. Westill combines romance with intrigue and a well-plotted mystery to perfection.

My rating for Fiery Nights Tempted by Sarah Westill is five stars. I highly recommend this book and all the books in this series or The Guardians of Sziveria series.

About Sarah Westill

Sarah Westill

Hello! Allow me to introduce myself to the universe, I am Sarah Westill. Christian, wife, mother, author, novice artist, professional photographer, graphic designer (this is actually my ‘real’ job), and teacher!
I homeschool our youngest for a few more months as he transitions from 6th to 7th grade, then I’m sending him to private school for actual 7th grade.

I also dabble in art. I love watercolors and have been tinkering with acrylic for a medium. I discovered I have a minor obsession with Golden paints, and have been investing in the primary colors that are in the same family (warm and cool) to make my own beautiful colors.

I absolutely LOVE to teach littles art. 2nd grade is my favorite. In addition to wanting to please, they actually still listen to instruction at this age and are so proud of themselves when they complete any portion. They aren’t hard on themselves yet, they don’t self-criticize. We can learn a lot from a 2nd grader. They also respond very well to praise and positive reinforcement.

On top of my writing, and my art dabblings, I’m also a semi-professional photographer. I say semi-pro because I haven’t had any official training, aside from working with actual pro-photographers, who helped me learn the ins and outs of exposure, composition, posing and depth of field. I absolutely adore portrait photography. Being able to capture a very human story, a moment in time for a new mother, a new marriage, is such an amazing opportunity and honor.

My job that helps pay for my path to self-publishing is a graphic designer. I’m a cover artist. Long story, but I work under the name Elaina Lee. A lot of people know Elaina the cover artist. I’m proud of that, and really blessed to have worked with hundreds of authors over the span of an entire decade.

I am excited to be starting this journey. To introduce to you my world, my Guardians, and the stories the characters have urged me to write. I hope you enjoy reading them over the coming years as much as I have enjoyed writing them.
