She broke his heart…

Besides work, Sylphine is the only thing that’s ever gotten under Jonathon’s skin. He’d thought she was out of his life for good, but he was wrong. When she arrives, desperate for his help, honor won’t let him walk away from her. But warring anger and desire leave him in a precarious situation. Everything would have been so easy if she’d only stayed out of his life and let him get over her.

Now he controls her future…

With her future at risk of falling into the hands of an enemy, Sylphine turns to the one person who can help—and the one person who probably doesn’t want to. Jonathon agrees, but not without conditions, compelling her to realize all her previous fears can cost her everything if she can’t learn to trust him.

Together, they discover the treacherous reason someone is desperate for her shipping empire, and the reckless measures her adversary will go to claim her. And as the tension heats up between them, Jonathon soon makes it clear he’ll be the one staking his claim…

Asherwick by Sarah Westill is a masterly written, fast-paced, suspense-filled adventure with just the right amount of heat. I love it.

Will Jonathon and Sylphine find happiness or lose their lives?

Sylphine Seartovos

Our heroine is Sylphine; she is the heiress to a shipping company. We have seen Sylphine in previous installments of the GEN-HEIRS series. She was engaged/promised to Jonathon, who we have seen many times in the series. I have always wondered about her, and her story is perfect. We get to really know Sylphine, her deepest fears, strengths, and her love for Jonathon and her family. Sylphine is intelligent and knows her family business well.

I enjoyed getting to know Sylphine and her history. She is so much more than my initial impression of her. It turns out that I really like her heart the most.

Jonathon Hunter

Our hero, Jonathon, is what we would call a police detective in violet crimes for Haven City. Jonathon is also the Key Guardian Asherwick. He has been involved in helping the special unit that Wintersfall leads figure out what is happening in their world. Jonathon is a highly respectable gentleman with lots of political and professional connections. Although he doesn’t have massive money, he and his sister live a nice quiet life. The Hunter family has what could be construed as a curse on them. However, Jonathon doesn’t let that stop him from loving Sylphine.

Asherwick CRI have always liked Jonathon. He is intelligent with street smarts and knows when to keep things close to his chest. He and Sylphine are terrific together. They compliment each other well.

Story, Mystery, and Other GEN-HEIRS.

The Cyrano family wants Sylphine’s family’s shipping business. However, that family isn’t the nicest, and they aren’t ready to let Sylphine get away. They try to kidnap her and Jonathon’s sister. They are using anyway to take over Sylphine’s family’s empire. While all that is going on, Jonathon finally looks at some mail sent from Mason Dandridge’s twin before she died. His sister and Sylphine are helping him to decipher what may be happening with that awful group.

We learn from Sean and Katria that his team members are going to be stepping back from travel now that they all have families. We also meet Ericksen and her possible love match for the next installment.

Ramsey Hunter is more than she seems, and she has some deep secrets of her own. OMG! I love her Gen-Heir ability, and I hope we get to see her story soon.

Five Stars

I adored this story. Ms. Westill has created the most fantastic world with these amazing characters. She can completely transport me to Sziveria and Italyssa with such clarity. My rating for Asherwick by Sarah Westill is five stars. I highly recommend this book and series. I love the complex mystery, the romance, the world itself, and all the fabulous characters.

About Sarah Westill

Sarah Westill

Hello! Allow me to introduce myself to the universe, I am Sarah Westill. Christian, wife, mother, author, novice artist, professional photographer, graphic designer (this is actually my ‘real’ job), and teacher!
I homeschool our youngest for a few more months as he transitions from 6th to 7th grade, then I’m sending him to private school for actual 7th grade.

I also dabble in art. I love watercolors and have been tinkering with acrylic for a medium. I discovered I have a minor obsession with Golden paints, and have been investing in the primary colors that are in the same family (warm and cool) to make my own beautiful colors.

I absolutely LOVE to teach littles art. 2nd grade is my favorite. In addition to wanting to please, they actually still listen to instruction at this age and are so proud of themselves when they complete any portion. They aren’t hard on themselves yet, they don’t self-criticize. We can learn a lot from a 2nd grader. They also respond very well to praise and positive reinforcement.

On top of my writing, and my art dabblings, I’m also a semi-professional photographer. I say semi-pro because I haven’t had any official training, aside from working with actual pro-photographers, who helped me learn the ins and outs of exposure, composition, posing and depth of field. I absolutely adore portrait photography. Being able to capture a very human story, a moment in time for a new mother, a new marriage, is such an amazing opportunity and honor.

My job that helps pay for my path to self-publishing is a graphic designer. I’m a cover artist. Long story, but I work under the name Elaina Lee. A lot of people know Elaina the cover artist. I’m proud of that, and really blessed to have worked with hundreds of authors over the span of an entire decade.

I am excited to be starting this journey. To introduce to you my world, my Guardians, and the stories the characters have urged me to write. I hope you enjoy reading them over the coming years as much as I have enjoyed writing them.
