When new author Cassie Winslett’s first novel isn’t selling, she is paired on a book tour with the best-selling author Elliot Somersby to boost Cassie’s sales and her confidence – but along the way a romance starts to blossom.

Another great Hallmark movie. This movie is the fourth one in the Winterfest 2019 movie lineup.

In this one, we follow new author Cassandra “Cassie” Winslett on the path of selling her memoir about how she got over the break up with her boyfriend and of course her being paired up with Elliot Somersby, a fantasy writer that has done quite well in book sales. Cassie has a famous mom that is an author and is trying not to use that as a way to boost her sales.

Elliot’s dog Bungy totally stole the show whenever she was on. Elliot’s relationship with Bungy is adorable.

Cassie and Elliot have great chemistry and are both very competitive people. They had a hot chocolate contest to see who made the best hot chocolate since they were stuck in a cabin during a snowstorm.

Jen Lilley and Kevin McGarry are charming together, and I believed they had fallen in love when the characters said they did. I wouldn’t mind seeing these two again in another movie together.
