The Magician’s Workshop Volume 2 by Christopher Hansen and J.R. Fehr is a fantastic continuation of the first volume of this series. This book continues right where the first book ended, and that is pretty cool. Once again, each chapter has its different point of view character in it.

What I like:

What I love about this book besides that the characters are still three-dimensional and so real.
It feels like they are alive.
The chapters are like mini books.
The other things that I like about it are that the world that the authors have made for this book does seem lifelike.
I was able to believe while I was reading the book that it was authentic.
I also liked how they described the color ceremony for the kids that can get their color pulled.

What I didn’t like:

What I didn’t like about this book is that even after everything that has happened the islanders still treats Kai horribly. Even more now with his clan hating him because of the colors that got pulled out of him. I still feel bad for Layuana too because once again we only get a few chapters for her but out of the ones that we get she is still terrified.

Five Stars!

The Magician’s Workshop Volume 2 by Christopher Hansen and J.R. Fehr is an excellent read, and I can’t wait to read volume 3. I hope it’s as good as the first two books. I am also giving this book five stars since it’s really pretty impressive and I am also recommending it to any of my readers that love this type of book.
