He may not be perfect...but he's perfect for her!
Ryan DeMeres is definitely enjoying the perks of being Sweetheart Ranch's new wrangler - the best is working with head chef Bridget O'Malley. He's fallen head over spurs for the talented and determined beauty. There's just one hiccup - Bridget is holding out for Mr Right, and Ryan doesn't quite meet her requirements. But he's determined to win Bridget over, because though he may not be perfect, maybe their love could be.
A future husband list, will it work?
The Cowboy’s Perfect Match by Cathy McDavid is the second book in this beautiful series. We pick up in May and end in July, I’m guessing, in this fascinating book. Ryan and Bridget are funny together from the moment that their paths cross.
Bridget O’Malley
Bridget O’Malley is the oldest of her and her sister, Molly O’Malley, who are working for their grandma at The Sweetheart Ranch. She has always been a fabulous cook. Bridget is one of those people that love to make lists and finding that Mr. Right is her main objective. Especially after her little sister and grandma start playing matchmaker with her.
What I like about Bridget O’Malley is that throughout the book, she is evolving and you can see her light up. She is a great cook that takes a simple meal and expands it into something more. The guests love it, and sometimes her grandma Em doesn’t. The one thing that I dislike about her is her list of what her future husband should be.
Ryan DeMeres
Ryan DeMeres is a house flipper of horse ranches and is looking for a job. Hence why he is now the new wrangler at The Sweetheart Ranch. Ryan is good at all of the wrangling duties; however, he might have bitten off more than he can chew with the house that he is flipping. OK, not only with the house but with Bridget as well. He does make some right decisions than he starts to make some bad decisions. Like always, everything turns out for the best toward the end of the book, and it’s an excellent thing.
What I like about Ryan DeMeres is that just like Bridget, he is evolving and admits when he has messed up. He is excellent with animals and especially with kids. What I dislike about him is that he doesn’t think that he is good enough for Bridget without checking off all her boxes on her list. The other thing that I dislike about him is that he has a plan and is trying to make that it go a lot faster than scheduled.
Five Stars
I am giving The Cowboy’s Perfect Match by Cathy McDavid a five-star rating and recommending it to everyone who likes cowboys and Harlequin Heartwarming. The Cowboy’s Perfect Match by Cathy McDavid is a great book that had me sitting on the edge of my seat throughout the whole thing. Everything about this novel is awesome, and I can’t wait to see more of the Sweetheart Ranch series.
