I love the holidays! We have our house all decorated with lights up outside, the bright and shining tree in the living room, the enticing aroma of fresh baked goods. The presents are all wrapped shipped off to loved ones.
One of my favorite parts is watching Christmas movies. Usually, I like to curl up on the couch with a nice hot drink, maybe a cookie or two and watch all the incredible Christmas magic play out. It doesn’t matter if it’s a cartoon, romance, or a Holiday miracle, I am into it.
So, I decided I would share my thoughts with you on this year’s holiday movies. There are so many new ones out on the small screen, from streaming on Netflix to watching on one of the networks like Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas, Hallmark Movies and Mysteries’ Miracles of Christmas, Lifetime’s It’s a Wonderful Lifetime, and ION Televisions’ Holiday Movies.

The story of sister and brother, Kate and Teddy Pierce, whose Christmas Eve plan to catch Santa Claus on camera turns into an unexpected journey that most kids could only dream about.

OMG! This movie was so fantastic. Kurt Russell is absolutely amazing as Santa Claus and wow, can he sing. Although, he wasn’t too good at driving a car.
The story was really cute. Kate and Teddy were believable characters. Teddy underestimated his sister’s tenacity multiple time during the film. However, the kids learned some valuable lessons from Santa.
So, my favorite part were the elves. They all have such personality, and they are adorable. Although, they can be mean if you aren’t good. I would love to share my home with one too. But don’t make me pick because they were all so darned cute. Well, except the one with the power saw and chainsaw. He was kind of scary.
I will most definitely be watching this film again. I think it will be one of my Christmas movies from now on.
