When werewolf Juliet goes on a camping trip with her human girlfriends, the last thing she wants to run into is a group of male wolves on the prowl for mates. She’s been acclimating herself into the human world just to avoid the cocky-as-all-get-out type of men who break her heart. But when she meets Roman, her life without a true mate is about to change. Roman is the alpha of his pack, and with pressure from all sides, he’s in search of a mate who can handle the challenge of a strong leader. When he finds her in Juliet, he discovers the very woman who can steal his heart and help lead a pack is also the kind who will challenge him in ways that could cost one or both of them their lives.
*This is an expanded and revised version of V. Vaughn's previously published book, Bite My Sass written in Milly Taiden's Sassy Mates World.
Going camping and finding your true love. How fabulous is that?
Stand by Your Wolf by V. Vaughn is a beautiful romance. This story has romance, humor, and friends who are like family. I devoured this book. Juliet and Roman immediately had me rooting for them. I can’t wait for the next book to come out.
Likes and fun stuff
- A werewolf mating jamboree
- Four college girlfriends RV camping
- A real gypsy fortune teller
- Three werewolves and the Alpha looking for mates
- Great food and drinks including gourmet s’mores
- Hiking and tubing
Dislikes (if you can call it that)
This is such a great book that there wasn’t much that I dislike just the usual, you know? Like Regina the bad guy ok so she is a girl. And the miscommunication or Juliet jumping to conclusions, but without these things to keep the story moving, I wouldn’t have loved it as much.
5 Stars for Stand by Your Wolf by V. Vaughn
My rating for Stand by Your Wolf by V. Vaugh is five stars. The romance was different than the last few I have read, and I enjoyed the bonus of two in one book. This is my first book by V. Vaugh or Violet Vaughn, but I have read some of the Lucy Quinn books. I love those cozy mysteries. I will tell you that I will be checking out the Winter Valley Wolves books. V. Vaughn’s books can be found on Kindle Unlimited if you have Amazon. I recommend this book.
