Hey, the Shadowhunters are coming back Tuesday!
Shadowhunters season 3 premiere is on March 20, 2018, and the show is on Tuesdays. I am very excited about this upcoming season. I have been anxiously awaiting the return since the last season ended last year. A lot happened in the season 2 finale episode and left us without a lot of questions. Or at least it did with my mom and me. My birthday is the day before the premiere of this season and I am so excited. I can’t wait to watch it that I might do a bit of a binge watch of season 1 and 2 to prepare myself for the newest season.
Actors/Actresses and Max
I know that I didn’t talk much about the new actors and actresses that they picked for some of the characters last year in any of my posts. However, I have to say I am loving the ones that were picked. Let’s hope I like the newest cast additions as well. Okay, Katherine McNamara as Clary is still my favorite.
One of them is Alisha Wainwright who plays Maia Roberts. Alisha is an excellent Maia in my opinion and is a better match for Simon in my mind for the television series.
Another one of the season 2 new cast members is, of course, Will Tudor who plays Jonathon Morgenstern/Sebastian Verlac. Will plays an excellent bad guy and I actually like the way that the writers made it different than what we know in the books. There was a lot of new people that came into the series and not a whole lot are going to stay.
I am actually very happy that they didn’t get rid of Max (Jack Fulton) in season 2. In my opinion, they should give the character some purpose. Max deserves to live for a lot longer than he did in the book series.
The Seelie Queen, both versions were played superbly. She is so full of life and yet quite the trickster. Sarah Hyland plays the older version. and Lola Flanery plays the younger version, both of the actresses do an outstanding job. They are very convincing. We know they are not related, but seriously, the casting department really did well.
Shadowhunters Season 3 will be awesome
I sincerely can not wait for the next season with Lilith coming to help Sebastian and to see how the Shadowhunters will handle her. To read what I thought of last season as a whole here is the link to my Shadowhunters season 2 review. I hope that this next season is as good as the last 2.
