Kate had survived. She had lived through pain and torment and now she was on the other side, where all the happiness was supposed to be. But with Alec’s vengeful punishment for escaping him, she can’t touch anyone without hurting them.

Alec still wants to create a Level Five and he’s dangerously close. That power under his control would mean unraveling the world as it stands. The world Kate has not yet started to enjoy. She won’t be able to rest until her body, her mind is fixed, and Alec won’t get his beloved power without her help.

The two warring sides of Rogues and Shadows will have to meet. Kate will have to confront Alec and his cruel ambition once again. But every moment with the Shadows is detrimental to those she loves, especially Kylan. So she must find a way to outsmart the person who taught her everything she knows, the most feared Shadow in the world.

Kate is strong. She survived once. But even the strongest people can break with the right pressure, and Alec is ready to tear her life apart.

Rogue Unbroken by Angie Day is about Mara and Kylan trying to help Mara.

Is Mara ever going to stop pulling energy from everyone who touches her?

Mara Hayes

Mara Hayes is our first main character, and without her, we will probably have no story. She is a level 5 Legend, which means she’s extremely powerful, but Mara can’t stop stealing anyone’s energy if they touch her skin. The reason for that is that Alec took that ability away from her in the last book. Mara is a strong-willed young lady, and she has been doing fine with not giving into that dangerous pull. I like that she is finally embracing both sides of herself and allowing her family to see the Shadow side of her as well.

Rogue Unbroken CRKylan Stone

Kylan Stone is our second main character, and he is such a sweetheart. I felt so badly for him throughout the entire thing, especially around Alec. It amazes me how two people can share the same DNA, but they are entirely different when they are raised in two different ways. It’s that whole nature vs. nurture thing. Kylan is an incredible Legend trying to be with Mara while also helping her and the rest of his little family be safe together.

Five Stars

I am giving Rogue Unbroken by Angie Day five stars and recommending it to everyone who likes adult fantasy novels. Ms. Day has done a splendid job on this novel; it was worth the wait. I love Mara and Kylan. It will be a sad day once this series ends as I adore the characters and their stories.

Angie Day

Angie Day found her love of writing while in college where she studied psychology and eventually went on to a master’s degree. She noticed the need for romantic and fantastic adult stories that were still wholesome and clean. So, she took matters into her own hands.
