My Thoughts:
Sophie (Merritt Patterson) is a photographer who wants a successful career, but she wants a family as well. Her grandma is a little matchmaker who might need Sophie’s assistance while she has her ankle recover from her fall. Sophie being the dutiful granddaughter, comes back home to help out.
Merritt Patterson does an excellent job with this role. I think it is one of my favorites. She looked so happy, and I completely believed her performance.
David (Jon Cor) is an IT executive and is taking care of his nephew, Troy, whose parents passed away. He creates apps and other things like that and is pretty good at it. David wants what is best for Troy, and that makes him a special guy.
Jon also does a fabulous job playing David. The protectiveness and caring relationship that he has with Troy really shows in this film. Merritt and Jon have excellent chemistry on screen, and it looks like they had a lot of fun filming this movie.
I highly recommend this Christmas movie. Enjoy!
