There's big trouble in the park system. Someone is making life difficult for Jamie Quinn's boyfriend, Kip Simons, the new director of Broward County parks. Was it the angry supervisor passed over for promotion? The disgruntled employee Kip recently fired? Or someone with a bigger ax to grind? If Jamie can't figure it out soon, she may be looking for a new boyfriend because there’s a dead guy in the park and Kip has gone missing! With the help of her favorite P.I., Duke Broussard, Jamie must race the clock to find Kip before it’s too late.

Secrets, jealousy, ex-wife returns, dad was married before….what the?

Peril in the Park is the third book in the Jamie Quinn series by Barbara Venkataraman. I really enjoyed the book.

We are back with Jamie Quinn and her friends in Hollywood, Florida. It has been three years in Jamie’s time, she is still with her boyfriend Kip, awaiting her father’s return to Florida, and she is still practicing law. Jamie is doing fairly well, she is keeping up with her practice. I have to say that I love when she tells herself its ok to go into work late as her boss won’t mind since she works for herself.

The mystery centers on Jamie’s boyfriend Kip and his job at the park district. There are a few things happening there and Jamie loses contact with him a couple of times. Shall we say she is a little jealous of one of his co-workers? I thought her jealousy was endearing, Kip handled it great.

Duke is back to help Jamie and Kip figure out what is happening at the parks. What for his pirate costume, loved it.

Ms. Venkatarman that is 3 in a row that I have liked. Great job. The mysteries were good, I loved the characters, and will be looking forward to the next book.

My rating is 5 stars, I recommend the Jamie Quinn series it got a little of everything.
