My Rating:
My Thoughts:
So far, this movie is one of my favorites from Hallmark’s June Weddings. Its plot is different, and I love the way that the characters were portrayed in this movie.
Each couple had their definite chemistry that I believed was real despite knowing that it’s a movie and that they each had their own lives that got a bit disrupted by the film crew coming in to shoot this episode.
Lily
Lily Bellenger played by Heather Hemmens just from this film I can tell that she is a top-notch actress. I thought Heather played Lily well and that the growth of her character throughout the film was perfect. The way she went back into writing is impressive as well and that she found her passion again, back in the place where she first discovered it is pretty special.
Scott
Scott Meyers played by Cornelius Smith Jr did super well in this film as well. I thought that he did an excellent job playing Scott and how his growth of Scott going through the film is amazing as well. I liked how he also figured out that maybe he didn’t love Brynn the way she deserved. Cornelius’s and Heather’s chemistry onscreen is pretty high, and I love how that spark between the two exes just reignited a bit more each time their paths crossed.
Brynn
Brynn Ward played by Tara Erica Moore was so wonderful. It was great to see her character’s progression and how trying to plan a wedding in such a short time was a great learning experience for her. I liked that Brynn was self-confident enough to choose her personal needs over those of someone else’s need. Her chemistry with Cornelius was fabulous. At first, I wasn’t sure which female character to root for.
Overall this movie was super cute and had the wedding part of it down perfectly. Even though it did have weddings, our two main characters didn’t walk down the aisle themselves. I think the rating works for this movie.
