Welcome to my 8th Blogoversary Giveaway!
Last month was eight years of brilliant books, amazing authors, fabulous publishers, and working with some exceptional blog tour companies. I missed it last month since we have been preparing our house for the market.
I still find so much joy in reading the books I share, assisting the authors in getting their books out, and just being part of the beautiful world of books. The worlds that authors create are such treasures. I like to read many genres, as anyone who has followed me for a while knows. But lately, I find myself sticking to two main genres: mystery and romance, along with their many subgenres. Don’t count me out for a good fantasy or my mom and her thrillers. Throw a bit of paranormal in there, and either one of us is hooked.
In mysteries, it is fun to figure out the clues that the authors usually hide in the open. I sometimes get lucky and find the correct culprit before the investigator. However, my mom is much better at figuring out whodunit than I am. Do you like mysteries? Are you good at figuring out whodunit?
For romances, there is such euphoria when the couple finally gets their happily ever after. It keeps me smiling for days. Even if the main plot of the book isn’t romance, I find books that even have that little hint of it. Everyone needs somebody to love and return that love. Don’t you think?
Another of the genres that I like to read is middle grade or young adult. I like that the authors that write in this genre have a lesson for their characters to learn. They are easy to follow, and I get to share them with my friends’ children. I love introducing young people to reading. You will see a few more of those books reviewed this year, as I have found some intriguing middle-grade mysteries that I will be reading.
I would like to especially thank Lori of Great Escapes Book Tours for hosting so many fabulous tours this year. She is truly a fantastic person. Lori manages to keep all of us book bloggers straight and get us everything we need in a timely manner. I have worked with quite a few book tour companies over the years, and she is by far superior. If you have a book blog and love mysteries of all types, check out Great Escapes Book Tours. You won’t be sorry.
I’d also like to thank Megan Beatie of MB Communications for always sending exceptional thrillers (my mom loves them) and any other book she thinks I might like.
Also, for authors that have given me the outstanding opportunity to be on their ARC teams, I appreciate you so much. Thank you to Erin Johnson, Sophie-Leigh Robbins, Elizabeth Pantley, and Cece Louise. My mom would like to thank Sarah Westill for her ARCs too. Please keep writing, ladies. Your books bring much enjoyment to the world.
To celebrate (a little late), I’m giving away a collection of locally made items that I enjoy and, of course, a couple of cozy mysteries. I am calling this my Montana Gift Pack.
My last thank you goes to all of you reading this. I am happy you are here and hope you enjoy Baroness Book Trove.

Happy Reading!
It’s a toss-up between Asherwick by Sarah Westill and The Book of Beloved by Carolyn Haines. So far, but it could change before the end of the year.
The Tuesday Night Survivors’ Club was my favorite so far.
no fav
A Life Unraveled by Jill Hannah Anderson
So far it is a tie between Her Amish Wedding Quilt by Winnie Griggs and Linda Brody’s A Cowboy of Legend and A Cowboy Christmas Legend.
This is a very tough question for a book lover and non-stop reader. Usually my favorite book is the one I am currently reading! The one book that especially stands out in my memory is Ordinary Grace by William Kent Krueger. It is a beautifully written book that will stay in your memory.
Daryl Wood Gerber’s third in series book, A Hint of Mischief, has delighted me the most this year!
So far it’s Beaches, Bungalows & Burglaries
(Camper & Criminals #1)
by Tonya Kappes
So far, my favorite is The Girl Who Survived by Lisa Jackson.
My favorite this is Friday the Witchteenth by Amanda M. Lee. But there are a few months to go and that could change.
My favorite book is always the current one I am reading. Which is currently Noble Intentions by Katie MacAlister. I’ve read this series many times.
I have several favorites that I’ve read this year. But 2 of them are: A STUDY IN DEATH (Lady Darby Mystery #4) by Anna Lee Huber, and BAND OF SISTERS by Lauren Willig. Generally whatever book I’m reading is my ‘favorite,’ but that hasn’t been true this year.
The War God’s Favorite by Jenny Fox
