My Rating:
My Thoughts:
Abby Knight has gotten herself into a pickle in this wonderful mystery. She had to deliver flowers to a professor that someone didn’t like, but on the way, she met with the lawyer who was her rival when she was an attorney too. Abby returns to the office to see that the lawyer she met is dead in the other professor’s office. Obviously, someone else didn’t like that lawyer. I still like Abby Knight as a character as she’s super fun. I enjoy seeing how she works the case with her friend/business partner, Marco, and her dad. Well, when her dad is available to help out.
This whole mystery is quite funny, and the only reason Abby stays a suspect isn’t that great of evidence anyways. I like that we got to go somewhere different this time around and that we got to see the college where Sydney goes. Along with more scenes of Abby and Sydney together is quite cute. The chemistry between those two actors for a mother-daughter relationship is very believable.
Abby’s relationship with Marco is still budding, and them dancing around each other is adorable. It’s like do we like each other or what? Those parts are hilarious. Brennan does an excellent job at playing Marco. Marco being worried about Abby is very cute, and I love it when we see Abby get a bit jealous.
I did spot him for the killer right away, but I couldn’t think of his motive until it came to the forefront, and I was like, that’s why. My mom thinks I’m hilarious when I do stuff like that.
All the sets are fantastic. Even though I think it’s funny that Abby has a great big house with just her being in it, Sydney could still come home to be with her on the holidays and stuff. The house is beautiful for sure.
