Having spent an entire winter apart, Bella and Markus want nothing more than a few private moments to themselves. But a historian desperate for answers is waiting at their apartment door, disrupting their hopes.
An archaeologist who may have made the discovery of the century has gone missing in the distant land of Thanzia. The assistant director for ancient civilizations for the Sziverian Museum of History and Art convinces Markus he’s the only one who can help solve the mystery. With the antiquity of a culture on the line, Markus doesn’t feel he has much of a choice but to accept the request. However, he refuses to go without Bella.
After persuading his new bride the world has more to offer her than the Sziverian National Investigative Division can give, they set off for the desert country in what remains of the African continent. What they learn has the power to change the course of history for an entire nation.
And in the midst of unearthing the secrets left behind by a lost archaeologists, Markus and Bella struggle to find enough stolen moments to appease the awakening desires of their new relationship….
Dreams Never Seen by Sarah Westill brings us to another fantastic land. Her imagination is magnificent.
Will Bella and Markus find the lost archaeologist? Will they be stronger as a married couple?
Markus returns to Sziveria and his bride Bella, only to be called to duty in another country. However, Markus refuses to allow Bella to remain behind. The two of them, along with Lunah and a museum director, travel to Thanzia to look for a missing archaeologist who may have uncovered an ancient city there.
Our Investigators
Markus and Bella are a married couple now. Their attraction is heightened, and their bond is growing stronger. Since they are traveling out of the country, Bella must quit her job to be with her husband. It is about time. Bella is so very independent, which I like, but sometimes it is like she can’t accept help even from those who love her. Markus has uncharted feelings since his bond with Bella is not what his country approves of. The prejudice ruling the societies in this new world is nothing new. They aim at a different target than we do.
One of the things that we learn is that Bella gets horribly seasick. Markus takes good care of her, though.
Five Stars
I adore these Bella and the Beastmaster novellas. The story gives us enough mystery, suspense, romance, and good feelings to make it worthwhile. Ms. Westill’s world and characters are fantastically flawed and beautifully realistic, and their world is amazing. I love the apocalyptic supernatural side of the story.
My rating for Dreams Never Seen by Sarah Westill is five stars. I totally recommend this and all of Ms. Westill’s books.
