Plot Summary:

When an old friend of New York Sentinel Crosswords editor Tess Harper is found murdered on the very day the Sentinel’s crossword puzzle includes his proposal of marriage, Tess unofficially teams up with Lt. Logan O’Connor to find the killer. Together, they must assemble the pieces of a puzzle whose origins go all the way back to WWII Europe.

My Thoughts:

Crossword Mysteries: Proposing Murder is another stellar movie with Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliott in it. These two are pretty cute together, and I love these new characters that they are playing.

Lacey Chabert is Tess Harper that is a Crosswords editor for the New York Sentinel and is doing an awesome job. I love her career as it is an interesting one, and she is good at making up the crosswords. Tess is trying to help Logan solve the murder of one of her friends that was found dead on the day that he was going to propose to his girlfriend.

I was excited about Kimberly J. Brown showing up in this movie as Logan’s sister that is getting married. Ms. Brown is a great actress, and I am glad to see her, still acting.

I love this new movie mystery series, and I can’t wait to see how these two will become a couple when and if they decide to do that. The mystery had me guessing a lot. I speculated about one of the clues, but I didn’t figure out who did it. Well, until Tess found out as well. It was an exciting movie that kept me entertained.

Brennan Elliott and Lacey Chabert are two actors that I like seeing together. I can’t wait to see the next Crossword Mysteries: Abracadaver, but it looks like that won’t be until January of 2020.
