My Rating:

four-stars

My Thoughts:

Hannah and Mike are back once again to solve a mystery. This time as an engaged couple. I was glad to hear that they were back with a new mystery, but it makes me worry that Alison Sweeney isn’t going to do any more Chronicle Mysteries movies.

Anyways, there are things that I happen to miss about the original set of movies to this one. I won’t name them all, but Hannah’s bakery grew bigger within six months; Angela moved away with her husband, the new police chief, so that doesn’t make any sense, and their other sister is in town. I’m not getting a lot of what has happened. The town is big enough to have a 24-hour gym service that Hannah has supposedly gone to for years when she would be out running the streets in the early movies.

Sweet Revenge CWOh well, differences aside, the movie was pretty good even if the pacing was a bit slow. The mystery was good, and I enjoyed being with the characters again.

Dolores is back but not as her normal job but now as an author. Norman is around, and it looks like Hannah may not be over him completely. Or she could just miss her friend. I’m not sure what is going on with some of these characters, but it’s well played.

I am glad they brought this series back. My rating is four stars. I hope to see another one soon.
