My Thoughts:
Wow, this movie set the bar for Hallmark movies this year. It was superb in the acting, the story, the romance, and the family dynamics.
Jill Wagner plays Abbey Fuller, who is a single mother of a five-year-old son named Max, played by Wyatt Hunt. These two look like a mother and son, and I love the way that they interact with each other. I might really love anything that Jill Wagner plays in since she is such a great actress. Jill has great chemistry with every love interest that I have seen her act with for Hallmark. Abbey is a great interior designer as it shows how careful she is planning each step of the way with the Sinclair house and taking her time with picking out pieces for it.
Matthew Davis plays Nick Sinclair, who is the only son and running his family’s company. He is a workaholic who needs to learn to take a break, and he does learn that with Abbey. I love how he is with her son when he gets the chance to interact with him. It’s charming. The only person I dislike works with Nick, and that is Kate, but that’s mostly because of how she acts toward Abbey.
The chemistry between Matthew and Jill shows on the screen when you see these two act in every scene that they are in together.
Walter, played by Charles Green, is funny. I especially liked it when he was telling Abbey that what she is wearing isn’t good enough for a date that she is going on.
Christmas Wishes and Mistletoe Kisses is a great movie to watch.
