Plot Summary:
When Belinda returns home for Christmas, she sees Dustin, who broke her heart. “Accidentally” paired together by her dad, who runs the Scavenger Hunt, the two rekindle their love solving clues and taking selfies with their tasks. Along the way, they take a tree to a reclusive gentleman, who Belinda visited with her mother. But Belinda is also home to purchase the town museum for a client who intends to build condos there. Conflicted, she wonders how to tell Dustin, the museum’s director. It’ll take a Christmas miracle for their love to survive and for the museum to be saved.

My Thoughts:
Kim Shaw plays Belinda. She goes home for Christmas but is asked by her boss to close a deal on a property that holds a lot of the town’s history. I think that Kim Shaw does a good job of showing the emotions that her character goes through while trying dealing with selling it out from under her ex-boyfriend and the town.
Kevin McGarry is Dustin, who is the curator of the mill museum and happens to be Belinda’s ex-boyfriend. The Mill museum has a lot of issues, and he is trying to get it to be fixed to save it from being torn down. Dustin is the jack of all trades for the town as he does whatever any of the town members ask him to do. Well, up to a point.
The town has an annual Scavenger Hunt which all proceeds go to a charity of the town picks. This year the city is working for the Mill Museum, and Belinda’s dad tosses her into the hat for Scavenger Hunt teams. Carl, her dad, is playing matchmaker to bring Belinda and Duston back together again.
I thought that the plot was sweet; the scenes for the scavenger hunt were so cute. Kim Shaw and Kevin McGarry have lovely chemistry with each other. All in all, this is a great movie that I truly enjoyed.
