My Rating:
My Thoughts:
Christmas Under the Stars is a magical story about looking up at the stars, seeing the beauty, and finding your home.
After Nick gets fired, he ends up finding work at a Christmas tree lot. It’s at this Christmas tree lot that Nick finds what makes him happy and finds a nice group of people that he wants to be there for, and that’s always a nice thing to have, especially at Christmas. He grows as a character from the first time we see him to the ending of the movie. He becomes more open with possibilities as he works at the tree lot than he ever was at the investment firm.
Julie is a science teacher and a mom to a little boy. They are trying to find their way after losing her father the previous year. For her and her son, the holidays this year are the hardest, and she tries to make it better for her son. It turns out to be better after they meet Nick and her son opens up more to him than anyone else. I love Julie and Matt as they are the cutest pair, and I think they did a good job of casting them.
Jesse Metcalfe plays Nick, and Autumn Reeser plays Julie, and I have to say that these two are the cutest pairing ever. Their chemistry is so amazing and believable. It’s present every single time that they were on screen together.
I love the sets that we have in this movie as well. They did a good job recreating Chicago. This movie is a good one. I wish I would have watched it last year. But that is what DVRs are for.
