Plot Summary:

Margot, a world-renowned pianist, returns to Chateau Newhaus to spend the holidays with her family and rediscover her music passion. While there, her ex-boyfriend and former bandmate Jackson convinces her to headline the annual Christmas Concert, and working together brings back all their old feelings.

Chateau Christmas brings together not just one couple that might have a second chance but two. These two couples are pretty cute, even though Margo and Jackson are the ones we are watching.

Margo is a classical pianist trying to get her groove back while also needing to spend time with her family. Jackson just came to see his old buddy at the chateau but got conned into planning the Christmas event. Margo and Jackson have a great time planning the event together and trying to get more people involved. That seems to take over for the whole movie, along with Margo trying to find her spark that she has been missing for a while.

Merritt Patterson plays Margo, and Luke Macfarlane plays Jackson, and I loved their chemistry together. They seem like they would make a great couple in real life. Merritt portrays an awesome pianist. Luke portrays a great cellist.

The sets are okay, even though I didn’t get where the chateau is supposed to be. Not only that, but they just seemed to be only going around one street through their entire visit. But the story plot is strong and enjoyable.
