TWO YEARS!!
I still can’t believe that two years has passed since I started my book review blog after moving to Montana. I started it because I have needed something to keep myself busy and I found myself reading more than I did before. So I decided that I would create this blog on blogspot then after a year I transferred to wordpress and here I am another year later, thoroughly enjoying reading the books, writing the review and adding a little bit more now and again.
I had a lot of fun this past year. I have gotten a lot of requests from publishers and authors for reviews. Which has been a lot of fun reading books by authors that I would never have found otherwise. I am really happy with my blog and how much I have grown since starting it. I have had fun corresponding with the authors and publishers. I enjoy waking up to seeing a new request for me, reading books that are different and exciting, the excitement when a author likes my tweet or even just having a normal day with where I can sit down to read a book and play with my cat. I also had fun learning all the stuff for the site and I am truly blessed to have it last this long and see people enjoying my posts to.
My goals for this next year are to try to read more and really get this site hopping with activity. I am getting better now about notes and getting my reading done in a more timely manner. I am hoping to keep up with this streak of reading a book in a few days or less. My biggest goal for this year is to get more books read and the reviews on the site in faster. I would also like to do more blog tours and have a few more giveaways.
As for the activity I love seeing the stats I get emailed to me about with how many of you have come onto my site to look at my reviews. I am really pleased about it and it is a wonderful way to start my day. I am quite happy blogging, having fun, and loving everything that is happening on this site. I don’t think that I would change much about this site really. However that doesn’t mean that in the future I won’t make some big change, I like to leave everything open to the possibilities.
Anyways I am very happy that this blog has reached it’s two year Blogoversary and is still going strong with people viewing my posts/reviews.
