The Christmas Club
Network: Hallmark
Director: Jeff Beesley
Writer: Julie Sherman Wolfe
Plot Summary:
When dance teacher Olivia and business consultant Edward meet, they replace a woman’s lost Christmas Club savings with their own money and soon begin noticing pay-it-forward acts. But their magical day ends when Olivia learns Edward’s client is buying the dance studio. Luckily, Edward finds a storefront perfect for Olivia to start her own studio and secretly helps her get a loan. Thinking she secured it herself, Olivia sees Edward hugging the loan officer and declares he must believe in her for their relationship to work. It might take some Christmas magic and fate to bring these two back together.

My Rating:
My Thoughts:
Olivia (Elizabeth Mitchell) is a dance instructor and mom who lost her husband a while ago. She loves being a dance teacher, and her life has been thrown into a tailspin when her boss has decided to retire. Olivia is a good character and mom to a beautiful girl that loves to dance like her.
Edward (Cameron Mathison) is an uncle to his sister’s son, and the rest of his life is work. He helps Olivia discover her dream of owning her own dance studio and helped her getting a building for it. He is also great with Olivia’s daughter.
The Christmas Club has a sweet story to tell. I love the part with Mrs. Claus, helping the two get together. Oh, and the lost money that kept showing up was adorable.
The acting was superb, but Zoe Fish steals the show with her sweet smile and lovely dance moves. Elizabeth and Cameron are charming together. This film is a beautiful Christmas story. Another highly recommended movie for Christmas.
